Are your window treatment installers employees or subcontractors?

Our installation team consists of our own employees rather than outside subcontractors. By handling installation in-house, California Window Fashions can maintain consistent communication, project coordination, and installation standards throughout the process.

What makes California Window Fashions a good partner for trade professionals?

We provide a highly supported experience designed to make window treatments easier to manage within a larger project. Trade partners work with a dedicated designer for product selections and project details, as well as a dedicated concierge—our showroom manager—who can assist with samples, scheduling, communication, and coordination. Our project management and in-house installation teams help carry the project from initial selections through final installation.

Can I provide my own fabric or COM (Customer’s Own Material)?

We do not currently accept COM. Instead, we offer Carole Fabrics for custom drapery, Roman shades, and other fabric window treatments. With thousands of fabric choices available, our team can help source an option that works with your project’s color palette, pattern, texture, and overall design direction.

Does California Window Fashions offer custom drapery?

Yes. We design and install both functional and decorative custom drapery, along with coordinating drapery hardware. We can also help integrate drapery with shades and other window treatments when the project calls for a layered window design.

Can you provide fabric and material samples for my project?

Yes. Your dedicated concierge can help coordinate fabric and material samples for both current projects and projects still in the planning stages. Let us know what you’re looking for, and we’ll help identify and source appropriate options.

What support is available after the window treatments are installed?

Our support continues after installation. During the manufacturer’s warranty period, California Window Fashions can assist with service calls, troubleshooting, and necessary adjustments. This ongoing service helps us support our trade partners and their clients beyond the initial installation.

We work with interior designers, architects, builders, contractors, developers, and other industry professionals looking for a reliable window treatment resource. Our team can assist with design collaboration, product and material selection, professional measurements, project management, and in-house installation from the early planning stages through project completion.

Why is Hunter Douglas the right brand for my client?

Quality and selection. While there might be other brands like Lutron and Courad, Hunter Douglas offers the largest collection including limitless smart integration and limited lifetime warranties.

How much involvement will I have in the process?

You choose. Our Trade Partners can involve themselves in as much or as little of the process as they like.

Are your prices competitive?

Of course. That said, we pride ourselves on our people and process paired with lasting service. We are often not the cheapest in town by design.
