The UV Protection + Opacity of Solar Shades
Our sun shades are created using specialized fabrics that bring in natural (filtered) sunlight and maintain your view, while providing necessary solutions. Solar shades will reduce the glare and protect your home’s interior from harsh UV rays. Offered in five different opacities, you can customize the amount of light and privacy, using a percentage range. These numbers describe how “open” the fabric is–the lower the number, the less light comes through. Fabrics with 1% openness will allow the least amount of light, while fabrics at 10% invite more light.
Dual Solar Shades
Having a wide range of control at the window is essential for comfort. That wide range of light control, from filtered light to blocked light is possible with Designer Solar Shades when they are customized with the dual shade system. Enjoy filtered light and a dynamic view when the solar shade is lowered. Then, when you need more privacy or light control, lower the secondary blackout roller shade for complete darkness, privacy and energy efficiency.
